Burns feints and as Mustacho raises his hands in defense, Burns changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Burns sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mustacho's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mustacho is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Burns is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mustacho is just riding it out for now. Burns eventually gives up the hold.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mustacho does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
And Burns counters with a quick kick to the body but Mustacho blocks it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Connor Mac Burns.
Well Burns has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Connor Mac Burns spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
