Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Johnsen (ranked 4792 p4p, 465 weight class) and Wesley Whitaker (ranked 4359 p4p, 442 weight class). Johnsen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cypress Hill-How Can I Kill a Man. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whitaker tries to clinch there but Johnsen circles away.
Whitaker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Johnsen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Whitaker backs up against the cage.
Whitaker cracks Johnsen with a right hand to the side of the head.

Johnsen throws a sloppy head kick and Whitaker moves out of range easily.

No luck for Johnsen with that takedown attempt.
Johnsen has been working on his balance at Official UFC Performance Institute Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Whitaker .

Johnsen needs to keep his hands up - Whitaker had a free shot at his head there.

Johnsen cracks Whitaker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Whitaker scores with a sloppy right hand. Johnsen should have avoided that one.

Whitaker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnsen momentarily.
Johnsen looks to score with a jab to the body but Whitaker is just out of range.
Whitaker lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Johnsen is rocked!

Johnsen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnsen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Oh Johnsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Whitaker fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Johnsen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Johnsen looks to clinch but Whitaker throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Johnsen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
