The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirage throws a hook but Winston blocks it.

That kick from Mirage tenderised Winston's leg. Winston is trying to keep his angry face on.

Mirage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That was a close round but I would say that Alphonzo Mirage will probably get the nod.

Mirage throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Winston's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Mirage dives in looking to finish as Winston flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Mirage's strikes! Mirage is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Winston's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Winston was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
