Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cyriac Doumbe!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doumbe tries to clinch up but Yaj circles away and keeps his distance.
Yaj fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Doumbe manages to avoid it.
Doumbe moves in looking to clinch but Yaj pushes him off.
A counter left hand to the body from Yaj misses its target.
Yaj avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yaj was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Doumbe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yaj.
Yaj misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doumbe.
Yaj throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Doumbe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Some wild striking there from Yaj.
Doumbe drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Yaj defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doumbe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yaj to score with a decent uppercut.

Doumbe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yaj defends it nicely.

and Yaj counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Yaj is looking to wear down Doumbe with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Yaj stuns Doumbe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Cyriac Doumbe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yaj connects with a superb combination that knocks Doumbe out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Yaj before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Doumbe!
