Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Chojnowski (ranked 5354 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Greene (ranked 1944 p4p, 0 weight class). Chojnowski comes to the cage accompanied by Nothing More - Do You Really Want It ?. Piotr Chojnowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Piotr Chojnowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danny Greene!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chojnowski tries to clinch there but Greene circles away.

Greene drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Greene looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Greene working the ground and pound but Chojnowski is defending the strikes.
Greene has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Greene tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Greene is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chojnowski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greene moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Chojnowski tries to bench press Greene off him but Greene keeps the position.

Greene swings around for an armbar but Chojnowski sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Greene's guard.

Greene is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chojnowski defends well.

Greene is looking for a triangle but Chojnowski pushes his legs off easily.

Chojnowski wants to control from the top but Greene keeps moving.

Greene is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Greene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chojnowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Greene on the ground.
Chojnowski wants to control from the top but Greene keeps moving.

Greene is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chojnowski is aware though and is defending well.

Greene is working an open guard so Chojnowski takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Chojnowski is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Greene presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chojnowski is trying to control but can't.

Greene is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chojnowski is just riding it out for now. Greene eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round but I would say that Piotr Chojnowski will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Greene will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Chojnowski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Greene eats them both and turns towards Chojnowski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Greene changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chojnowski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Chojnowski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Greene's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chojnowski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Greene stuffs the takedown attempt from Chojnowski. Chojnowski gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chojnowski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Greene's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Greene's back!

Greene got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chojnowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Greene has managed to get both his arms back between Chojnowski's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Chojnowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Greene is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Piotr Chojnowski.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chojnowski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
