The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roldan misses with a takedown
and Hammerfall counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Roldan throws a head kick but Hammerfall moves out of range.
Roldan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

It looks like Reinaldo Roldan has been cut.
Reinaldo Roldan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roldan misses with a leg kick

and Hammerfall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hammerfall softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Roldan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hammerfall is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfall lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roldan backwards.
Hammerfall prevents Roldan from breaking the clinch.

That has opened up Reinaldo Roldan's cut even more.

Hammerfall is pressed up against the cage. Roldan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hammerfall down to the mat. Hammerfall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hammerfall scores with a jab to the head.

Hammerfall moves into the clinch.
Hammerfall digs a right hand into Roldan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Roldan's gas tank.
Roldan tries to break free but Hammerfall pushes him back against the cage.
Roldan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hammerfall avoids it.
Hammerfall lands a right hand that snaps the head of Roldan backwards.
Hammerfall makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The cut above Reinaldo Roldan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hammerfall lands a left hand that snaps the head of Roldan backwards.
Hammerfall loads up on a right hand - it lands flush and knocks Roldan senseless! What a punch!
