Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gennady Mikhasevich (ranked 5933 p4p, 116 weight class) and TB Twelve (ranked 6086 p4p, 198 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gennady Mikhasevich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, TB Twelve !
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikhasevich throws a low kick but Twelve moves out of range easily.
Sloppy strikes from Twelve . Those never looked like landing.
Twelve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mikhasevich.
Mikhasevich tries a head kick but it misses.

Twelve drives through and clinches with Mikhasevich against the cage.

Twelve breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mikhasevich throws a big shot that misses.
Mikhasevich fakes the leg kick and cracks Twelve in the body.
Mikhasevich misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mikhasevich scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gennady Mikhasevich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Twelve closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mikhasevich's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mikhasevich is looking to sweep but instead, Twelve has passed into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mikhasevich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Twelve can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Twelve throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mikhasevich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Mikhasevich had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Twelve defends it easily.

Twelve is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mikhasevich to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mikhasevich shrugs it off.

Twelve with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mikhasevich tries to lock up and control but Twelve gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mikhasevich might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Twelve misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Mikhasevich tries to lock up and control but Twelve gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Twelve wants to get up but he can't break Mikhasevich's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mikhasevich is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Twelve is taking a breather. Mikhasevich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Mikhasevich throws a hook to the side of Twelve 's head but Twelve sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Twelve shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mikhasevich but Mikhasevich pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Twelve .

Twelve closes the distance and pushes Mikhasevich back into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Mikhasevich's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Mikhasevich has had enough of the clinch but Twelve keeps him there for the moment.

TB Twelve showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mikhasevich tries a head kick but it misses.

Mikhasevich throws a wild body kick that Twelve sees coming a mile off.
Twelve steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mikhasevich.

Mikhasevich goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

TB Twelve is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mikhasevich tries to land a front kick but Twelve steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Twelve shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mikhasevich is trying to defend but Twelve finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
