PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Sekany (ranked 3630 p4p, 137 weight class) and Bonesaw McGraw (ranked 2745 p4p, 245 weight class). Sekany comes to the cage accompanied by John Fogerty-Centerfield. Bonesaw McGraw told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sekany looks to score with a jab to the body but McGraw is just out of range.
McGraw scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McGraw uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
McGraw scores with a punch to the head.
Sekany throws a head kick but McGraw moves out of range.
Nice body punch from McGraw.
McGraw darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That has opened up Bonesaw McGraw's cut even more.
McGraw bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sekany has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sekany works McGraw's body with a nice hook.
McGraw comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sekany throws a head kick that misses.
Sekany takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've been informed that McGraw has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A punch lands to the side of Sekany 's head but he takes it in his stride.
McGraw lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sekany will feel that in the morning.
Sekany throws a hook but McGraw blocks it.
Bonesaw McGraw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGraw lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sekany backwards.

Sekany ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sekany no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McGraw slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Well, with McGraw on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Sekany is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

McGraw lands a big shot to the side of the head and Sekany goes limp! He's out cold - the ref jumps in to save him from more punishment!

Bonesaw McGraw bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
The defeated Jake Sekany had this to say: 'Complete bullshit I could throw a ball at every judge, complete idiots. My opponent got lucky and I will be back. I never quit, I am like herpes, I go away but I just comeback stronger...'.
