Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Antonio Camatta (ranked 674 p4p, 0 weight class) and Police Officer (ranked 4821 p4p, 466 weight class). Police Officer acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 10 losses; Antonio Camatta! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 4 losses; Police Officer!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Officer instigates a clinch.
Officer is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Camatta is defending well.

Camatta is trying to drag Officer to the mat but Officer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Antonio Camatta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Police Officer.
Officer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Camatta fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Camatta closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Camatta tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Officer felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Camatta has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We've been hearing good reports from Camatta's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Camatta's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Camatta seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Officer for as long as he can get away with.

Camatta is stalling here. Officer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Camatta seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Officer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Officer keeps control of the position as Camatta tries to break free.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Officer wins on points by 14 to 6.
Police Officer really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Humanoid Nutrition (160Q for 180$) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
