Ford shoots in looking for a takedown but Mayfield manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ford's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mayfield shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ford eats them both and turns towards Mayfield to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Mayfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Ford. Ford gets slowly back to his feet.
Mayfield lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mayfield.

He turns his back on Mayfield, trying to create some distance but Mayfield rushes him, striking wildly and Ford goes down! The referee tackles Mayfield into the cage to end the fight! Mayfield is one violent man!
