Buckeye comes to the cage accompanied by Lose my mind young jeezy. Jab Buckeye has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhino misses with a head kick.

Rhino gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Buckeye to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Buckeye postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Buckeye makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rhino is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Buckeye is aware though and is defending well.

Buckeye drops back looking for a leg! Rhino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rhino manages to kick Buckeye off! Buckeye jumps back into Rhino's guard.
Rhino wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buckeye works over Rhino with some ground and pound from guard.

Buckeye has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Buckeye got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rhino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Buckeye has managed to get both his arms back between Rhino's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rhino can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rhino is desperately trying to improve his position but Buckeye has a good base and remains in mount.

Buckeye tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Buckeye is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rhino defends it well.
Buckeye lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rhino tries to kick Buckeye off in order to stand up. Buckeye Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Buckeye wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rhino keeps working.

Buckeye is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Buckeye looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rhino with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rhino is trying to stand up here but Buckeye is controlling him well.

Buckeye is nestled in close to Rhino, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rhino is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Buckeye pulls his head out easily.
Buckeye working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Buckeye scores with a big shot! Rhino's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Rhino! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jab Buckeye!
In his post fight interview, Jab Buckeye started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
