The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTorture leaves Baxter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on McTorture's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Baxter slips a jab from McTorture.
Baxter was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McTorture misses with a two punch combination.
Baxter blocks a head kick by McTorture.
McTorture misses the shot to the body.
Mac McTorture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McTorture looks winded!

Baxter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McTorture tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
