Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thay Budo (ranked 1215 p4p, 186 weight class) and Gunna Win (ranked 2897 p4p, 399 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thay Budo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunna Win!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Win counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Thay Budo has been cut.
Budo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Win. Win circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Win has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Budo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Win misses with a hook. Budo ducked under it nicely.
Budo is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Win.
Win stuns Budo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Budo ducks under a wild hook from Win.
Budo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A jab from Budo does it's job there.
Budo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Win moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Win bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No joy there for Budo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Win drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sloppy strikes from Win. Those never looked like landing.
Budo cracks Win with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


Win is rocked!
Budo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Win looks up at the clock. Bad move! Budo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Win. Budo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thay Budo!
Thay Budo retains his light heavyweight title!
Thay Budo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Gunna Win was interviewed post fight and said 'Pill Slippin Budo must have slipped something in my water... I think it was a "sleeping pill"'.
