Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kris Ingram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Santeri Kivimaki!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Ingram as Kivimaki shoots in.

Kivimaki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ingram quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ingram is staying active underneath Kivimaki, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ingram is holding on to half guard well.
Ingram is trying to maintain the position but Kivimaki is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ingram manages to get to full guard.
Kivimaki postures up in Ingram's guard and throws a big left but Ingram blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ingram is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kivimaki is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ingram not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ingram controlling the position.
Kivimaki trying to control but Ingram is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kivimaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kivimaki gets the takedown into side control.
Kivimaki scores with punches from side control.
An elbow from Kivimaki crashes against the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ingram is not content to let Kivimaki control the position.
You can see the frustration on Ingram's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ingram is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kivimaki off and has taken his back!
Kivimaki trying to control the action but Ingram just sinks the hooks in.
Kivimaki wants to get back to his feet.

Ingram working for a choke but Kivimaki is defending well.
Even with his hooks in, Ingram manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Ingram will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kivimaki turns into Ingram and is now in his guard.
Ingram preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ingram trying to control the position.
We've been informed that Kivimaki has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Kivimaki cracks Ingram with a solid left hand.
Kivimaki lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ingram really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kivimaki wants to control from the top but Ingram keeps moving.
Kivimaki scores with a decent looking elbow strike.


Ingram is rocked!
Ingram is trying to control the position but Kivimaki postures up.
Oh Ingram is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kivimaki lands a couple of elbows.
Kivimaki postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ingram covers up, he's hurt! Kivimaki keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kivimaki and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kivimaki can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Santeri Kivimaki!
