Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Chaos (ranked 139 p4p, 23 weight class) and Magnar Sigthordisson (ranked 4770 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaos comes into the arena with Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face blaring out of the sound system. Sigthordisson has chosen Ganstagrass - Long hard times to come as his entrance music. Magnar Sigthordisson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sigthordisson gets tackled into the cage by Chaos. Chaos maintains the clinch.
Chaos digs a right hand underneath Sigthordisson's ribcage. Sigthordisson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Sigthordisson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chaos is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sigthordisson to the mat. Sigthordisson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Chaos passes Sigthordisson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Sigthordisson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chaos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chaos is nestled in close to Sigthordisson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Chaos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sigthordisson wants to control but Chaos is having none of it.
