Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Crespo (ranked 1660 p4p, 197 weight class) and Nik Snow (ranked 743 p4p, 85 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silvio Crespo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nik Snow!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crespo moves out of range of the strikes.

Crespo throws out a loose jab but Snow uses good head movement to avoid it.
Snow throws the kick towards the body but Crespo avoids it.

Crespo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Crespo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Snow steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Snow has his foot on Crespo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crespo works his way back into a safe position though.

Crespo doesn't manage to clinch there - Snow circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Snow crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crespo - the referee stops the clock and Snow gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crespo. Snow manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Snow throws a body punch but Crespo moves out of range.
Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Crespo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Snow thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Crespo if he has to take too many more of those.

Crespo shoots in looking for a takedown. Snow tries to sprawl out of it but Crespo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nik Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Nik Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
