Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Mancini (ranked 3480 p4p, 366 weight class) and Martin Edwin (ranked 21462 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ray Mancini has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ray Mancini seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Edwin is wriggling around but Mancini manages to pass to half guard.

Edwin pushes Mancini off but Mancini dives into side control.
Mancini works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mancini is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Edwin's shoulder. That is not cool.
Mancini looks up at the clock and then as Edwin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mancini smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Edwin can do anything to dispel that myth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Edwin bucks up and tries to throw Mancini off but instead Mancini has got his back!
Mancini keeps control of the position easily here as Edwin tries to buck him off.
Edwin is trying to stand back up.
Edwin covers up after that shot from Mancini.
Mancini has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Edwin is trying to remain composed but Mancini is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Mancini is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Edwin. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Mancini drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Edwin is in real trouble here! Mancini lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Mancini is delighted!
