Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Diggler (ranked 7554 p4p, 711 weight class) and Jab Brown (ranked 5618 p4p, 630 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Diggler.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown but Diggler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Diggler throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Diggler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Diggler throws a leg kick
and Brown counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Brown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diggler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brown somewhat.
Diggler misses the shot to the body.
Brown changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Dirk Diggler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Diggler.
Brown was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diggler misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
Diggler thuds his right hand into Brown's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Diggler moves into the clinch.
Brown blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Brown wants a takedown.

We've been hearing good reports from Diggler's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diggler sees it coming and defends easily.

Diggler is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!
Brown wants to escape the position.
Brown is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Diggler has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Brown.
It looks like Jab Brown has been cut.
Diggler throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Brown!
Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
