Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Garza (ranked 5090 p4p, 577 weight class) and Daniel King (ranked 6133 p4p, 613 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Garza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel King!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with a takedown attempt.
King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garza but Garza pushes him off and we're back to square one.

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Garza shoots in and bounces King off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
King seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Garza has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Garza thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.

Garza is sneakily working for an arm triangle but King sees it coming and defends easily.

King feints the counter takedown.
Garza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Garza looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for King!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Garza misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Garza is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that King can do to turn this around?

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Garza's legs - danger averted.

Garza is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! King rolls with it to try and escape but Garza cranks on the arm and King is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
