Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 wins, 9 losses and 1 draws, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kassim Suluhu!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacheco steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Suluhu. That one must have hurt.
Suluhu moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Suluhu lands a front kick.
Pacheco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Suluhu as he jumps to the side.
Suluhu lands with a shot to the body.

Suluhu scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Suluhu is keen to just control but Pacheco is a slippery customer.
Pacheco wants to get back to full guard.
Suluhu content to control rather than advance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pacheco will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Suluhu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Suluhu wants to control from the top but Pacheco keeps moving.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pacheco fails with the takedown
and Suluhu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Suluhu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kassim Suluhu dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Suluhu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pacheco is trying to defend but Suluhu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suluhu connects with a nice short shot to Pacheco's temple.

Pacheco has hold of Suluhu's hands but Suluhu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Oh Pacheco is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pacheco seems to have got his legs back now.
Pacheco can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Suluhu controls the pace.
Suluhu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pacheco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pacheco shoots in looking for a takedown but Suluhu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pacheco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kassim Suluhu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Suluhu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suluhu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Pacheco tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Suluhu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pacheco is looking to escape.

Jose Pacheco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pacheco is desperately trying to improve his position but Suluhu has a good base and remains in mount.
Suluhu lands a big shot there that rocks Pacheco but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Suluhu postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Pacheco out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Suluhu goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

A very excited looking Kassim Suluhu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
