The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beeker shoots in for a takedown but Dudley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Beeker tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dudley defends well and Beeker ends up having to push Dudley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Beeker feints and as Dudley raises his hands in defense, Beeker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Beeker in particular looking to stall.
Beeker is stalling here. Dudley is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Beeker seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dudley has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Dudley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Beeker to his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Beeker is defended easily by Dudley.

That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Dudley will probably get the nod.
