Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoki Mayoniko (ranked 992 p4p, 130 weight class) and Reed Hightower (ranked 1253 p4p, 160 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Mayoniko moves out of range of the body kick from Hightower.
Hightower smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Hightower is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mayoniko had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hightower.

Hightower drops Mayoniko with a huge uppercut! Mayoniko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Hightower is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Reed Hightower started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
