Kenardly comes to the cage accompanied by Strokin. Maiden comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Iron Maiden kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 wins, 27 losses and 1 draws, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Maiden!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Kenardly misses.
Kenardly has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Maiden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kenardly as he jumps to the side.
Maiden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kenardly defends it nicely.
Kenardly lands a really nice looking cross but Maiden seems unphased.
Kenardly cracks Maiden with a good jab.
Nice straight punches there by Kenardly. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kenardly.
Kenardly misses with a head kick.
Maiden throws a sloppy head kick and Kenardly moves out of range easily.
Maiden is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maiden throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kenardly counters with a three punch combo that has Maiden backing up. Maiden nods at Kenardly to acknowledge the strikes.
Maiden on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kenardly avoids the head kick by Maiden.
Kenardly lands a head kick. Maiden smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Eddy Maiden has been cut.
Maiden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kenardly.
Kenardly jabs Maiden right on the nose. Maiden blinks but takes it well.
Maiden tries for a takedown but Kenardly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lars Kenardly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Maiden.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maiden slips a jab from Kenardly.
Kenardly stuffs the takedown attempt from Maiden. Maiden gets slowly back to his feet.
Kenardly throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Maiden's head.

Maiden is rocked!

Maiden has managed to clinch.
Maiden tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kenardly softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Nice elbow from Kenardly.
Kenardly working Maiden over with knees to the body.
Maiden throws a head punch that misses.
Maiden misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Kenardly breaks the clinch.
Maiden walks into a left hand.
Maiden is still on wobbly legs! Can Kenardly finish him?
Maiden gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Kenardly counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kenardly avoids the head kick by Maiden.
Kenardly lands a big head kick that sends Maiden to the canvas! Kenardly follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lars Kenardly!
Our winner, Lars Kenardly, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
