Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Lowe (ranked 1175 p4p, 189 weight class) and Franky Page (ranked 1211 p4p, 196 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Lowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Franky Page!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowe throws a half hearted mid kick.
Franky Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Page lands a nice hook to Lowe's body. Lowe takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Page throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lowe throws a shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Page, as that shot connected.
Lowe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Page.
It looked like Lowe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Page thows a left - swing and a miss!
Page moves out of range of the body kick.
Lowe throws a body shot but no joy.
Page moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Page tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lowe's elbow.

Page is trying to trip Lowe. He has hold of a leg but Lowe is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Page persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Page working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Lowe swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Page throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lowe on the side of the head.

Page shoots in looking for a takedown but Lowe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Page's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lowe lands a big head kick that sends Page tumbling to the mat! Lowe takes a step backwards and waves Page back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Franky Page has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Lowe gets caught flat footed, as Page shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lowe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lowe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Page manages to get himself to full guard.

Page arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Lowe's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
