The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selean has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Selean there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Mike Selean has been cut.
Selean shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Saint Charles pinned against the cage. Saint Charles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Selean changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saint Charles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Saint Charles tries to bench press Selean off him but Selean keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saint Charles isn't going anywhere.

Selean is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Saint Charles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Saint Charles is trying to control Selean's posture but Selean avoids it.

Saint Charles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Selean wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Saint Charles defending against the ground and pound.

Saint Charles reaches up around Selean's neck trying to control. But Selean takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Saint Charles! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Saint Charles is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Selean celebrates the victory with the fans!
