Chinaman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Orient Express Theme. Asian Chinaman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ted Lewis's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ted Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lewis's corner calls for a 1-2. Lewis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Chinaman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lewis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chinaman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chinaman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lewis is fighting to break Chinaman's control of his arms but Chinaman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Lewis thows a huge punch but Chinaman dodges it nicely.
Lewis is nestled in close to Chinaman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lewis connects with a nice short shot to Chinaman's temple.

Chinaman wants to control but Lewis is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Lewis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chinaman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The referee warns Chinaman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Asian Chinaman has been cut.
Lewis postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Chinaman is out cold - huge knockout for Lewis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ted Lewis!
