The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoll tries to clinch but Drake is having none of it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Drake enables Stoll to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Drake manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Drake tries to sprawl but Stoll drives through with a takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stoll content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Stoll frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Drake is working to get back to half guard.
Stoll lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Stoll stands up from mount. Strange move.
Stoll goes for a double leg but Drake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Drake continues to drive forward.
As Stoll backs away, Drake returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Drake moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Stoll has his takedown stuffed
and Drake counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Stoll clinches.
Drake is trying to break the clinch but Stoll has him pressed against the cage.

Drake has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stoll after a bit of a struggle.
Drake is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Drake is trying to drag Stoll to the mat but Stoll just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Stoll tries for a takedown but Drake manages to get underhooks.

Drake misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stoll.

Drake throws a head kick that misses.

Stoll slaps away a takedown attempt from Drake, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stoll manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Drake on his heels. He'll look to pass Drake's guard now, I'm sure.
Stoll controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Stoll passes Drake's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Drake is not content to let Stoll control the position.
Drake won't allow Stoll to pass to mount.
Drake wants to improve his position but Stoll is controlling well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stoll in particular looking to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stoll seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Stoll passes to side control.
Drake tries to buck Stoll off but Stoll is having none of it.
Stoll looks up at the clock and then as Drake takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stoll smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Drake tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Stoll presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Stoll looking to control and managing it successfully.
A big strike lands for Stoll! That's really hurt Drake and he's turned his back - Stoll keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stoll jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
