PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamden Jackson (ranked 1202 p4p, 195 weight class) and Max Falco (ranked 3598 p4p, 456 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is Valparaiso. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falco tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Falco.
Jackson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Falco wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Falco as he jumps to the side.

Falco closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jackson quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Falco uses his free foot to push down on Jackson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jackson.

Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Falco tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Falco to the ground. Falco escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Falco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
