Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xydd throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Knight misses the jab.
Knight keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Xydd throws a sloppy head kick
and Knight counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Zyd Xydd has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Knight darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Some bone on bone action there as Knight checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Xydd fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knight manages to avoid it.
Xydd moves out of range as Knight strikes.
Knight cracks Xydd with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Knight fails to land with a series of punches.
Xydd lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Xydd takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Xydd uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Knight.
Xydd drops his hands momentarily and Knight takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Knight throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Hayley Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Knight might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Xydd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knight was well out of range. Poor timing from Xydd.

Xydd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A looping hook to the body misses from Knight. Xydd does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knight tests Xydd's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Knight throws a looping overhand right but Xydd ducks down to avoid it.

Knight is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Xydd had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Xydd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Xydd there as he acknowledges the shot.
Knight throws a hook to the side of Xydd's head but Xydd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A quick step to the side and Xydd tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Knight sends Xydd crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Knight is motioning to the referee to let Xydd up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knight feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Xydd sprawling to the canvas! Xydd rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Knight finish him?!
Oh Xydd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Knight fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Xydd out cold! Brutal finish!
