PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Sauve (ranked 2135 p4p, 200 weight class) and Alexander Pedan (ranked 2723 p4p, 234 weight class). Sauve's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Prodigy Out of Space. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sauve tries to keep at a distance but Pedan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sauve wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pedan has him pressed against the cage.
Pedan tries to circle away but Sauve has him pinned against the cage.
Sauve misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sauve wants to take the fight to the mat but Pedan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Pedan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sauve lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pedan backwards.
Sauve pushes Pedan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Pedan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sauve lands a high kick to the side of Pedan's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Sauve dives into guard, looking to finish.

Pedan is rocked!

It looks like Alexander Pedan has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sauve sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pedan's guard.
Pedan is still in real trouble! Can Sauve finish him?
Sauve stops Pedan from getting back to his feet.

Sauve is nestled in close to Pedan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sauve landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Pedan has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Sauve is on him like a limpet, forcing Pedan back against the cage.
Sauve throws a head punch that misses.

Pedan prevents a body shot from Sauve.

Sauve pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sauve lands a body shot.
Sauve uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pedan.

Sauve breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sauve stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pedan.
Sauve staying out of range there.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sauve knocks Pedan out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
