Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Jefferson (ranked 1721 p4p, 209 weight class) and Baeddan MacAuliffe (ranked 2840 p4p, 304 weight class). Jefferson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Radioactive. MacAuliffe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Notorious by Duran Duran. Jeff Jefferson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Baeddan MacAuliffe's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacAuliffe moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
MacAuliffe throws a right hand that Jefferson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jefferson also avoids with ease.

Jefferson throws a punch but it's blocked by MacAuliffe.
Jefferson wants to break free but MacAuliffe has control.

MacAuliffe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Baeddan MacAuliffe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jefferson forces MacAuliffe back against the cage and clinches.

MacAuliffe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. MacAuliffe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

MacAuliffe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jefferson pulls his head out easily.
Jefferson wants to stand but MacAuliffe has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Jefferson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Jefferson throws the left hand but MacAuliffe avoids the punch easily.
MacAuliffe unleashes a big counter combination but Jefferson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
MacAuliffe shoots in but no luck this time.
MacAuliffe misses with a few strikes there.
A little feinted left hand from Jefferson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

MacAuliffe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jefferson sprawls well initially but MacAuliffe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

MacAuliffe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jefferson is just riding it out for now. MacAuliffe eventually gives up the hold.

MacAuliffe has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jefferson defend it? MacAuliffe steps over the head and cranks it - Jefferson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for MacAuliffe!
