The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Mullen trying to control the position but instead, Stevie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mullen into the cage.

Stevie has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mullen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Stevie keeps control of the position easily here as Mullen tries to buck him off.
Mullen tries to escape but Stevie has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevie is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Stevie misses with punches from the back.

Mullen is trying to get back to his feet but Stevie has full control of the position and if anything, Mullen has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Mullen trying to control the hands but Stevie won't let him.
Stevie gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stevie is working for a rear naked choke. Mullen is not defending it well and Stevie has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mullen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mullen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
