Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bret Collier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abdul Gazimov!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gazimov avoids the body shot from Collier.
Gazimov appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Gazimov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Collier swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gazimov rushes Collier and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Collier jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gazimov walks away with a smile on his face. Collier gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Collier really is a fat lump.
Collier throws a body punch but Gazimov moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Gazimov's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Gazimov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Collier swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice side step and Gazimov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Collier circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Collier misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gazimov.
Gazimov doesn't manage to clinch there - Collier circles away.
Collier throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gazimov counters with a nice body kick.

Collier stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Gazimov looks winded!
Collier bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Collier connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gazimov's hands.

Gazimov rushes Collier and presses him up against the cage.
Gazimov keeps control of Collier as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gazimov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Collier has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Collier throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gazimovs head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Collier.
Gazimov doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Collier slows down the pace here.

Collier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Collier shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Collier is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gazimov defends it well.

Collier is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gazimov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
