Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotton looks for a takedown but Dee sprawls well.
Cotton drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dee throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Dee pulls Cotton in to control the position.
Cotton won't allow Dee to sweep him here.

Cotton postures up in Dee's guard and throws a big left but Dee blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cotton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dee is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Dee closes the distance and clinches.
Cotton is trying to pull guard but Dee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Dee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cotton.

Cotton jumps guard but Dee stands there with Cotton around his waist. Cotton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cotton went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Cotton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dee as he jumps to the side.
Cotton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Dee decides to stand back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cotton is doing well to control the position and prevent Dee from advancing to side control.
Dee is controlling the pace.

Dee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Cotton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dee pulls his head out easily.
Cotton is trying to control but can't.
Cotton is looking to escape.
Dee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dee content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Cotton trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dee looking to control and managing it successfully.
It looks like Dee might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cotton controls Dee momentarily but Dee frees himself.
Cotton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cotton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dee lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cotton is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Dee! Cotton is hurt baaadly! Dee is firing away with more strikes - Cotton is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
