And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian throws a head kick that misses
and Xydddddd counters with an inside leg kick.
Xydddddd throws a sloppy head kick and Christian moves out of range easily.
Zyd Xydddddd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Christian or perhaps it was just good defense by Xydddddd, which made it look bad.
Xydddddd avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Xydddddd avoids the body shot from Christian.
Christian shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Xydddddd as he jumps to the side.
Christian shoots in but Xydddddd avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zyd Xydddddd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Christian.
Xydddddd lands a lovely overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Christian cracks Xydddddd with a right hand to the side of the head.

Christian shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Xydddddd sprawls well. Xydddddd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Christian gets slowly back to his feet.

and Christian takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Xydddddd scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Christian takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Xydddddd cracks Christian with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Xydddddd has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Christian to stand back up!

Xydddddd ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Christian is still on wobbly legs! Can Xydddddd finish him?
Xydddddd throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Christian crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
