The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fella has closed the distance and engaged Cooke in a clinch.
Cooke throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fella blocks it with crossed arms.
Fella breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cooke shoots in for a double leg but Fella sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fella closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cooke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fella tries to avoid it but Cooke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fella to the ground. Fella escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
