Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Light Heavyweight (ranked 833 p4p, 128 weight class) and Damien OQuinn (ranked 1267 p4p, 196 weight class). OQuinn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blac Youngsta - Late. This should be fireworks!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from OQuinn! But no joy.

Heavyweight drops OQuinn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but OQuinn looks back up at him and smiles so Heavyweight waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

OQuinn is rocked!
Damien OQuinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heavyweight finds OQuinn's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! OQuinn flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Heavyweight lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure OQuinn will be OK.
