Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ole Anderson (ranked 1128 p4p, 55 weight class) and Massive Overflow (ranked 862 p4p, 40 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by HEADED SOUTH -by DOWN. Ole Anderson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ole Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Massive Overflow!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Skip Squint and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson fails with the takedown
and Overflow counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Overflow darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Anderson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Overflow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Overflow is looking to reverse the position.

Anderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Overflow wants to control but Anderson postures up.

Anderson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Overflow tries to bench press Anderson off him but Anderson keeps the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Overflow can do anything to dispel that myth.
Overflow gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Overflow is defending against the submission attempts here by Anderson.

Anderson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Overflow sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Anderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Overflow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Anderson.

Anderson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Overflow manages to get to full guard.
Overflow told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Overflow dives on top into guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Massive Overflow will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Overflow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Overflow is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt
and Anderson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Anderson swings widly with a right hand
and Overflow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Overflow sprawls well. Overflow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet.
Overflow looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson throws a lazy right hand but Overflow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Overflow! But no joy.
Overflow lands with a straight right. Anderson didn't see that one coming.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt
and Overflow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ole Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Overflow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Overflow let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Anderson misses with a hook
enabling Overflow to counter with a crisp jab.
Anderson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Anderson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Overflow counters with a crisp right that sends Anderson to the canvas! Overflow follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Massive Overflow!
Massive Overflow gave a mention to BuriedAlive// Fight Gear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Ole Anderson spoke after the fight, saying 'Im.....speechless.....hats off to My opponent he caught me but I will be back no doubt.'.
