PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bianchi (ranked 1150 p4p, 142 weight class) and Jonathan Davis (ranked 1295 p4p, 162 weight class). Davis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Imperial March (L.O.D. Rage Mix). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis dips to his left and cracks Bianchi with an uppercut!
Davis throws a body punch but Bianchi moves out of range.

Bianchi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard.

Bianchi has gone for a leg lock! Davis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bianchi's guard.

Davis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bianchi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bianchi circles away quickly and effectively.
Bianchi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davis enables Bianchi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
