Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crack Head (ranked 4209 p4p, 421 weight class) and Tim Greene (ranked 21977 p4p, 581 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Greene's choice of entrance music: Back In Black. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Head counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
I was talking to Head's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Greene is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Head to keep the fight standing.

Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Greene.
Greene tries to pull guard but Head holds him up against the cage and eventually Greene drops back down to his feet.
Head digs a right hand underneath Greene's ribcage. Greene let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Head scores with a shot to the side of Greene's head.
Greene jumps guard but Head stands there with Greene around his waist. Greene gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Head breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Greene.
Greene doesn't manage to clinch there - Head circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greene fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Head lands a big head kick that sends Greene tumbling to the mat! Head takes a step backwards and waves Greene back to his feet - he wants the finish!
