The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
I Was A God misses with a wild body shot.
Twelve was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Twelve rushes I Was A God and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Twelve jumps guard and drags I Was A God to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
I Was A God wants to stand but Twelve is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I Was A God postures up.
Twelve will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I Was A God avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

I Was A God drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Twelve dives on top into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Twelve postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

I Was A God escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Twelve gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

I Was A God working for a triangle but Twelve defends it easily.

Twelve gets to his feet. I Was A God looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Twelve fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with I Was A God, pushing him back against the cage.
Twelve has I Was A God pressed against the cage, preventing I Was A God from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

I Was A God won't allow Twelve to sweep him here.
I Was A God wants to control from the top but Twelve keeps moving.

I Was A God drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and I Was A God jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

I Was A God drops back, looking for a kneebar! Twelve looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Twelve looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Twelve !

I Was A God is looking for a sweep.
Twelve tries to stand but I Was A God is controlling his head.

Twelve is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, I Was A God has escaped the position, nice work there.

Twelve looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

I Was A God tries to bench press Twelve off him but Twelve keeps the position.
Twelve working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I Was A God is trying to improve his position.
Twelve tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Twelve moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Twelve ducks under a wild hook from I Was A God.
Twelve seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Twelve shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has I Was A God pinned against the cage. I Was A God gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Twelve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that I Was A God can do to turn this around?
Twelve shoots for a takedown but I Was A God saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
I Was A God throws a lazy right hand but Twelve sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
I Was A God throws a jab when Twelve was well out of range.

Twelve changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. I Was A God looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

I Was A God is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Twelve is just riding it out for now. I Was A God eventually gives up the hold.

I Was A God wants to work for an arm triangle but Twelve is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
