Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron McLoughlin (ranked 3554 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 16896 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden has chosen The Dust Brothers - This Is Your Life as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron McLoughlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLoughlin just misses with a punch to the body.
McLoughlin misses with a shot to the body
and Durden cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A solid leg kick lands there for Durden.
McLoughlin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Durden feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McLoughlin's calf.
McLoughlin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McLoughlin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
McLoughlin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McLoughlin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Durden moves out of range of the strikes.
McLoughlin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Durden finds it's way round the side to connect with McLoughlin's head.

Durden is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McLoughlin's half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durden slips a nice elbow through McLoughlin's hands, connecting with McLoughlin's forehead.

Durden throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Durden swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McLoughlin.
Jab, jab by Durden - just one landing.
Durden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Durden defending well as McLoughlin loads up on a big left hand.
Durden throws a leg kick which misses McLoughlin's front leg but catches the back leg as McLoughlin tries to avoid it.
Durden connects with the punch.
McLoughlin misses with a combination
and Durden counters with a nice uppercut.
Aaron McLoughlin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Durden lands with a shot to the body.
McLoughlin throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Durden counter with a right hand.
McLoughlin throws a poor cross that misses
and Durden makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
McLoughlin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Decent striking displayed by Durden there.


McLoughlin is rocked!

Durden throws out a powerful jab.
Oh McLoughlin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durden dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
BOOM! Durden lands a beautiful left hook that drops McLoughlin. McLoughlin tries to recover but Durden is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and McLoughlin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Durden!
During a confident post fight interview, Tyler Durden thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
