PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva Jr (ranked 7933 p4p, 238 weight class) and Vinnie Sixx (ranked 8214 p4p, 216 weight class). Sixx has chosen The Fire of Power by WATAIN as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr checks a low kick from Sixx.

Vinnie Sixx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva Jr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva Jr there as he acknowledges the shot.
Silva Jr clobbers Sixx with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Silva Jr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sixx lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva Jr circles away quickly and effectively.

A quick step to the side and Silva Jr tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Silva Jr counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Sixx! He's just covering up as Silva Jr starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
