Pope's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ghost - Monstrance Clock. Reginald Lewis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 62 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robo Pope!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reginald Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pope clinches up with Lewis and pushes him back against the cage.
Pope looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lewis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pope avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Lewis manages to break the clinch.

Lewis clinches up against the cage.
Pope looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lewis lands an elbow inside that Pope shrugs off.


It looks like Robo Pope has been cut.

Lewis breaks from the clinch.

Lewis scores with a takedown into Pope's guard.
Lewis looking to pass the guard.
Lewis with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lewis showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Lewis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lewis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lewis pushing down on Pope's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Lewis content to control rather than advance.
Lewis lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lewis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pope with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lewis stands up and beckons Pope to join him on the feet.
Lewis shoots for a double leg takedown but Pope sprawls well. He's pushed Lewis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lewis lands with a good body shot.
Lewis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Robo Pope has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reginald Lewis.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Lewis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lewis showed some decent athleticism there.
Lewis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Lewis wants to pass the guard but Pope is defending well.

Lewis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lewis jumps guard and drags Pope to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lewis looking for a sweep. Not yet Lewis, not yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lewis trying to strike off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lewis is on top in guard.

Lewis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lewis scoring with punches to the head and body.
Lewis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Lewis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pope, up you get!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lewis moves into the clinch successfully.
Pope tries to circle away but Lewis has him pinned against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reginald Lewis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Robo Pope's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Lewis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lewis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pope to keep the fight standing.
Pope has had enough of the clinch but Lewis keeps him there for the moment.
Lewis wants a takedown but no success here.
Lewis lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Pope has had enough of the clinch but Lewis keeps him there for the moment.

Lewis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lewis lands a head shot.

Lewis gets the takedown into side control.


Pope is rocked!

Lewis decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Oh Pope is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OH! Pope has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Lewis smells blood and charges in for the finish! Lewis unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Pope sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Reginald Lewis!
In defeat, Robo Pope stepped up to the mic, saying 'I hope to be the first MMA fighter to die in the ring. Help make my dream come true.'.
