Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Barros (ranked 7428 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Roffen (ranked 8399 p4p, 0 weight class). Barros's entrance music is AC/DC - Thunderstruck. A fine choice. Josh Roffen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barros wants to clinch up but Roffen keeps it at a distance.
Roffen leaves Barros with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Roffen wants to counter the offense by Barros and move into the clinch position.

Roffen rushes Barros and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Barros tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Barros throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roffen's waist but Roffen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barros off to one side.

Barros gets tackled into the cage by Roffen. Roffen maintains the clinch.

Barros changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roffen tries to avoid it but Barros manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roffen to the ground. Roffen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Roffen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
