Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Jones (ranked 7924 p4p, 566 weight class) and Devin Watkins (ranked 7529 p4p, 555 weight class). Watkins has chosen What Happened to That Boi as his entrance music. Devin Watkins acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Micheal Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Watkins!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watkins lands a jab to the head.
Jones throws a series of punches but Watkins moves out of range.
As Jones backs off Watkins throws a huge counter combo but Jones manages to avoid it all.

Watkins darts in and clinches Jones up against the cage.
Watkins just leaning against Jones, taking a breather.
Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Watkins shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jones takes an elbow to the forehead.
Watkins tries a knee to the head but Jones blocks it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Watkins manages to break the clinch.
Watkins misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Watkins has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Watkins, right into the meat.

Watkins closes the distance and clinches.

Watkins landing knees to the body.
Watkins lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Watkins has double underhooks.
Watkins scores with a hook to the body.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Watkins drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Watkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Watkins is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jones throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Watkins's body to avoid the submission. Watkins has instead reached around Jones's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Watkins arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
