Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vasilios Megalos (ranked 998 p4p, 123 weight class) and Joseph OByrne (ranked 1307 p4p, 161 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OByrne misses with an attempted mid kick.
Megalos lands a jab.
OByrne throws a hook but Megalos blocks it.
OByrne looks to score with a jab to the body but Megalos is just out of range.
Megalos feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Megalos has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Megalos throws a good cross that connects.
OByrne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Megalos manages to avoid it.
Megalos stuns OByrne with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Megalos uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
OByrne tries a low kick but Megalos avoids it.
OByrne has managed to clinch.
OByrne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Megalos scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

OByrne jabs Megalos right on the nose. Megalos blinks but takes it well.
OByrne looks to score with a jab to the body but Megalos is just out of range.
Megalos swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Good exchange - Megalos coming out on top.
Megalos tries to land a body kick
and OByrne counters with a nice low kick that buckles Megalos's knee momentarily.
A solid body kick from OByrne.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Megalos misses with a body shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from OByrne lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Megalos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Megalos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
OByrne fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Megalos is out of range.
Megalos was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Megalos goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Megalos misses with a straight right.
Megalos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but OByrne was well out of range. Poor timing from Megalos.
OByrne misses with a body shot.
OByrne lands the left hand.
Megalos is looking to clinch but OByrne is avoiding it.
OByrne takes a swing at Megalos's ribcage but misses.
Megalos scores with a hook to the body. OByrne takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Oh Megalos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

OByrne thumps Megalos with a low kick.
Megalos takes a shot to the body in his stride.

OByrne gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Megalos tries to throw a body punch but OByrne avoids it by throwing Megalos back against the cage.
OByrne lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Megalos to his knees! OByrne keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joseph OByrne!
During a confident post fight interview, Joseph OByrne thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
