Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obelix De Gaul (ranked 361 p4p, 14 weight class) and Brad Lansar (ranked 211 p4p, 11 weight class). De Gaul comes to the cage accompanied by Asterix and Obelix. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Obelix De Gaul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Lansar!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lansar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lansar takes one to the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
De Gaul ducks under a wild hook from Lansar.
Lansar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Gaul moves away.
Lansar connects with a body shot.
De Gaul throws a body punch but Lansar moves out of range.
Lansar checks the leg kick.
Lansar blocks a head kick by De Gaul.
De Gaul looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Obelix De Gaul has been cut.
Lansar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but De Gaul circles away quickly and effectively.
Lansar connects with a leg kick. De Gaul looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lansar has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
De Gaul comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
De Gaul has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lansar throws a push kick but De Gaul slaps the foot to one side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Gaul looks to score with a jab to the body but Lansar is just out of range.
Brad Lansar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Gaul lands a nice hook to Lansar's body. Lansar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
De Gaul walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lansar or perhaps it was just good defense by De Gaul, which made it look bad.
Lansar looks to land a right hand but De Gaul moved out of range.
Lansar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from De Gaul.

That's one minute gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lansar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from De Gaul - the referee stops the clock and Lansar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says De Gaul. Lansar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
De Gaul throws a leg kick which misses Lansar's front leg but catches the back leg as Lansar tries to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Lansar blocks the leg kick.
De Gaul swings and misses with a hook to the body.
De Gaul throws a shot to the body.
De Gaul does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Still in the clinch, De Gaul scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lansar misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lansar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
De Gaul tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lansar's elbow.
A head punch on the inside from De Gaul fails to land.
De Gaul goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lansar misses with a punch to the body.
Lansar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lansar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of De Gaul backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lansar tries to throw a body punch but De Gaul avoids it by throwing Lansar back against the cage.

Lansar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
De Gaul scores with a hook to the body.
Lansar misses with the head strike.
De Gaul lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lansar or not.
Lansar blocks an uppercut.
De Gaul misses with a short punch on the inside.

Lansar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

De Gaul is breathing heavily.
Lansar lands a left hand.
Lansar works on De Gaul's body with a couple of short punches.

Lansar swings away with an uppercut that misses.

De Gaul prevents a body shot from Lansar.

Lansar is looking for a takedown up against the cage. De Gaul gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Lansar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with De Gaul's elbow.

Lansar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. De Gaul is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Obelix De Gaul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Lansar.
Lansar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

De Gaul is rocked!
Lansar works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Oh De Gaul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lansar lands with a right to the head.
Lansar is trying to work for a single leg takedown but De Gaul pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lansar throws a big uppercut that drops De Gaul! More strikes from Lansar and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! De Gaul lies dazed against the cage as Lansar celebrates with his cornermen!
