Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Léonard Lucy (ranked 525 p4p, 79 weight class) and Tero Susi (ranked 728 p4p, 113 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Léonard Lucy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Susi!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucy slips a straight right by Susi.
Lucy looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Susi loads up on a big right hand but Lucy slips the punch.
Lucy misses with a shot to the body
and Susi counters with a nice body shot.
Susi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lucy.
An attempted straight right counter from Lucy misses the target.
Lucy jabs Susi right on the nose. Susi blinks but takes it well.
Susi throws a sloppy head kick
and Susi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lucy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lucy throws a leg kick
enabling Susi to counter with a crisp jab.
Lucy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lucy slips a straight right by Susi.
Lucy walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lucy misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Susi counters with a left and a right that hurts Lucy! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Susi jumps into full mount!
Lucy is rocked!

Susi throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Oh Lucy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Susi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Lucy seems to have got his legs back now.
Susi throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Susi scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lucy?
Susi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Susi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Susi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lucy hang on?

Susi lands a nice shot to the head.
Susi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Susi throws a wild left hand from mount and Lucy manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
Susi throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Lucy to regain full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Susi throws a strike but Lucy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've been informed that Susi has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Susi is trying to control the position but Lucy postures up.
Susi keeping moving, preventing Lucy from controlling successfully.
Susi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lucy controls the pace.

Susi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lucy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lucy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Susi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lucy has managed to get both his arms back between Susi's legs - danger averted.
Susi wants to sweep here but Lucy controlling him for the moment.
Susi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lucy stacks Susi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lucy!
Susi is looking to regain half guard here but Lucy keeps moving and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tero Susi dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lucy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Susi in his tracks.

It looked like Lucy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lucy drops Susi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Susi looks back up at him and smiles so Lucy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Tero Susi has been cut.
Susi looks to score with a jab to the body but Lucy is just out of range.

Susi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lucy can pounce on him.
Susi misses with a kick to the body.
Susi lands a jab.
Susi takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Susi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lucy.

A big left from Susi misses.
Susi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lucy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A slow jab from Susi misses its intended target.
Lucy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Susi was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Susi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lucy walks into a jab.
Lucy throws a big shot that misses.
Susi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Susi misses with a hook.
Lucy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Susi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lucy.
Lucy misses with a left hand
and Susi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lucy's knee momentarily.
Susi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lucy.
Tero Susi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Susi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Lucy to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Susi throws a sloppy head kick and Lucy moves out of range easily.
Lucy looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Susi moves into range and connects with a jab.
Lucy misses with a head kick.
Susi connects with a crisp jab.
Lucy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Susi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lucy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Susi scrambles back to his feet.

Susi looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Susi backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Lucy's temple! It sends Lucy violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Susi celebrates and the doctors try to help Lucy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Tero Susi!
A very excited looking Tero Susi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
