Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Banks (ranked 4130 p4p, 388 weight class) and Kamakiri Yoritomo (ranked 2741 p4p, 297 weight class). Yoritomo has chosen Praying Mantis - Praying Mantis as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks shoots in for a takedown but Yoritomo shows good takedown defense.
Yoritomo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Banks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yoritomo pinned against the cage. Yoritomo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Banks has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight.
Yoritomo lands with a hook. Banks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
